1st Thursday Exhibit Showcasing Abstract Art by Adults with Disabilities
The media and general public are invited to “JUXTAPOSE”, a 1st Thursday Art Exhibit and Artists’ Reception, at Santa Barbara Art Works, at 28 E. Victoria St., an artist studio-gallery for aspiring artists with intellectual and/or physical disabilities to express themselves, collaborate within the community, create, exhibit and sell their artwork in a professional gallery. The exhibit is in collaboration with the Downtown Santa Barbara 1st Thursday Arts events.
What: “JUXTAPOSE”, a new collection of original abstract art and printmaking artwork by 15 artists.
When: Thursday, May 2nd, 2019, 5:00 - 8:00PM.
Where: Santa Barbara Art Works, 28 E Victoria Street, Santa Barbara, CA. 93101.
The event is free and open to the public. Wine and light hors d’oeuvres will be served, generously donated by Santa Barbara Winery and Whole Foods Market. Enjoy live music by the Traveling Hurtados.
