Kyle grew up in Blythe, California, where as a child, he gained experience on his family's alfalfa farm. He learned to draw from his father and followed his father’s interest in farming machinery. 

 

Kyle’s line drawings are refined and extremely detailed, blending the look of modern technology with whimsical objects from his imagination.

 

Also, Kyle makes handmade clay tiles with images of Santa Barbara landmarks. He has recently painted these images on large canvas using acrylic paint, as seen in his Santa Barbara courthouse paintings.
