Chuck was born and raised in Port Hueneme, California. His Mom has been his inspiration all his life and taught him to always have the right attitude.

 

Chuck is a poet and is inspired to write poetry because of a girl from his past. He develops his poems out of personal life experiences, observations, and accomplishments. He is also inspired by his job coaches and is grateful for their assistance and motivation toward his art.

Chuck has difficulty stabilizing his paintbrushes and other tools during the creative process. By utilizing adaptive art techniques, his art instructors have adapted to Chuck’s abilities and accomplished applying his poems to canvas. His artwork includes stencil work, layers of paint, and sometimes he paints directly on the canvas with his fingers to create a variety of textures.
